"At 55 years old, I was involved in motorcycle accident. Broken ribs, shoulder blade and collarbone. Extensive rehab and gyms did not get me results and suffered frozen shoulder. I slipped into a depression and Weight gain. I followed a coached when D1 first opened and already noticed cleanliness of gym as well as safety equipment. Numerous members also had injuries. D1 listened to members and enhanced equipment to support various injuries. Coaches were also focused on personal recovery and accommodations. I am nearing 67 years old and not only have my full range of motion restored but am lifting exceedingly heavy weights that most young lifters would be envious of. I have regained my confidence, balance, overall well being. I sleep better and have no pain. At this age, staying fit is key, as is load bearing exercises and balance.
