Local Pulse Pensacola announced this summer that Mike Roose, former World Series Champion coach and honored veteran, would open D1 Training Gulf Breeze in September. Roose has quite a story, and an honorable winding road that led him to D1.
“I chose to establish a new D1 Training facility in Gulf Breeze because of its vibrant, family-oriented community, robust military connections, and passionate sports culture,” Roose explained to Local Pulse Pensacola. “What truly resonates with me about D1 is the opportunity it provides to young athletes. It’s incredibly fulfilling to offer them a supportive environment where they can enhance their skills, strive for excellence, and ultimately achieve their athletic aspirations.”
