In a recent interview with Fox News, former Major League Baseball player Jeff Francoeur said some positive words about his company Pure Athlete's partnership with D1 Training.
"There's so many avenues, right? There's so many places that you can go to train, to do this, people that sell you," Francouer told Fox News writer Ryan Morik. "For me, [D1 founder] Will [Bartholomew] and those guys, though, they do it the right way, man, and they got the right people connected with them. I love how they personalize everything; everything is specific to what you're trying to do."
As part of D1's partnership with Pure Athlete, D1 is bringing expert-backed strength and conditioning guidance to PA+, Pure Athlete’s premium content platform designed to help families support their young athletes from the first game to the next big milestone.
PA+ subscribers will now have access to exclusive performance insights from D1’s elite coaches and training staff, tailored for athletes as they develop through grade school and beyond.
D1 CEO Will Bartholomew recently made an appearance on the Pure Athlete Podcast, discussing the importance of training for athletes.
As for Francouer, reflecting on his career, which included 12 seasons in the MLB, he said he wished he had a place like D1 to help him on his own athletic journey.
"If you're looking at trying to get the next step in advance, that's such a big part now. We talk to all these athletes, man, even for my career, if I look back, if there's one thing I could have done better, it’s take care of your body, right? Train better, agility, nutrition, all that. I just think D1’s on the cutting edge of a lot of what they do."
