D1 Training has been named to the 2026 Franchise Times Top 400, coming in at No. 393 and cracking the Top 400 for the first time.
After moving up 42 spots from 2024 to No. 417 in 2025, D1 jumped another 24 spots this year to No. 393.
The Franchise Times Top 400 is an annual ranking of the largest U.S.-based franchise systems by global systemwide sales. The ranking is the result of a five-month research and reporting effort by Franchise Times.

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but most importantly we are proud of the athletes who are reaching their goals across the country.”
D1 enters the ranking amid continued expansion across the country. After opening more than 40 new facilities in 2025, the brand has already added 35 new locations in 2026. D1 now has more than 170 locations open nationwide and has its sights set on opening its 200th location in early 2027.
The growth comes as D1’s athletic-based training model continues to align with a broader movement toward strength-focused fitness. In a recent survey of more than 1,700 D1 members, strength emerged as the top self-reported area of improvement and the primary factor influencing adult member retention. Among youth athletes surveyed, 79% said getting stronger and faster is what they like most about training at D1.
