D1 Training is about building and refining athletes of all levels.
But D1 Training owner and trainer Micah Hatfield is more about giving back to the community, which is what he hopes to do through his new business in Beaverton.
Hatfield grew up in Lake Oswego and played football for the Lakers, later the Oregon State Beavers, and beyond that for a short period of time with the San Diego Chargers.
Now, the 33-year-old is using his passion for sport, coaching and his hometown, to help people of all ages reach their fitness and athletic goals.
“When I started my own training business, I dove deep into the trainer world and found that there were just so many trainers that didn’t genuinely care,” Hatfield said. “I wanted to be in the training business to make a difference in people's lives, and I think D1 is the best way to do that.”
